How To Set Up Hosted Capture Pages

How To Set Up Hosted Capture Pages

Hello my friend,

Yesterday's Training Article walked you through the process of setting up your First AutoResponder. Now that you have a basic understanding of how to get an AutoResponder set up, your next step is to set up Capture Pages start getting subscribers in to your AutoResponder.

This Training Article is going to cover:

·  Capture Page Overview
·  Creating A Hosted Capture Page

Capture Page Overview
First: What is a Capture Page?

You may have heard of them as "squeeze pages" or "lead pages" but the basic idea is that a Capture Page is a simple web page that is used to invite prospects to request your information. They will request the information by filling out a subscription form.

The basic elements of any capture page are:

The Copy:
The copy will include your headline, any graphics, and any copy that you will be using to entice visitors to fill out your subscription form.

The Subscription Form:
The form can be as simple as asking for a name and email to as detailed as collecting address, phone  number, age, gender, and any other information that you want to collect from your subscribers.
One example of a capture page would be the page where you subscribed to begin having these training articles emailed to you:

Your TrafficWave.net account includes access to a number of Capture Page templates that you can use to set up your own Capture Pages. To set up a hosted Capture Page in your TrafficWave.net account, follow these steps:

1.     Select the AutoResponder you want to create a capture page for.

2.     Click "Define Campaign Data" on the left of your screen.

The default settings are to capture the full name as a single field and the email address. You can select any other fields you want to collect such as Company name, Phone Number, etc...

Be sure to check the option to the right if you want to force prospects to provide any of these fields. (Email and name will ALWAYS be required.)

There is a balance between asking for "enough" information and "too much" information. The more information you ask a visitor to provide, the less likely they are to fill out the form. If you are asking for a phone number, be sure you absolutely NEED that information and give them a compelling reason to provide it.

Every situation is unique and you will want to test in order to make the best settings for your own particular needs.

In the "Custom Fields" section, you have the option to create more fields that the visitor can either type a response to, select a check box, or select a pull down. As an example, the Capture Page referenced above gives a good example of custom fields. The last 4 fields of the form are all custom fields using a combination of pull-downs and text boxes.

3.     Once you have set up the data fields the way you want them, click "Submit Changes To Data Collection" at the bottom of the screen.

4.     Mouse over "Capture Pages/Forms" on the top toolbar and click  Hosted Capture Pages .

5.     Click  Create New Hosted Capture Page .

6.     Give your new Hosted Capture Page a nickname.

7.     Select a LCP (Lead Capture Page) Template using the pull-down menu.  You can view each template by using the little magnifying glass icon:

8.     Create your headline.

9.     Create your Subheadline (if needed).

10.   Create up to three paragraphs of text to describe your offer and entice your visitors to fill out the form.

11.   Add a signature if you would like one (recommended).

A Word About Landing URL's:

The default setting for your capture pages is that a subscriber is redirected to a TrafficWave.net page that lets them know they will be receiving a confirmation message.

You may opt to have the subscriber redirected to a page of your choice - a "Thank You" page, for example. This page could be branded to look like your own web site, have an offer for more products, a download, links to other offers, etc...

Subscription Landing URL: Page redirection occurs after initial subscription form data is submitted.

Confirmation Landing URL: Page redirection occurs after subscription has been confirmed by the subscriber.

Please note that you are responsible for maintaining these URLs, as your subscribers will be sent there after submitting.

After you have filled in the fields to your liking, click the "Create New Capture Page" button.

You should see your new Capture Page and URL in the new screen that comes up. This is the URL you should begin promoting in order to get subscribers in to your AutoResponder. You can view the capture page by clicking the magnifying glass icon: . If you want to make changes to your Capture Page, just click the nickname.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you have set up your hosted capture pages, your next step is to begin advertising your capture page URL so that people can find your offer.

The capture pages will not generate visitors. The capture pages are there to help you convert web site visitors in to subscribers. This is an important step and must not be overlooked.

The AutoResponder and Lead Capture Forms are a part of your overall marketing strategies. For tips on how and where to advertise, be sure to review your Training Articles and visit our Member Discussion Forum in your back office.

Tomorrow's Training Article will show you how to add subscription forms to your own web site (if you have one). If you would like to read this article now, just log in to your back office, click "Training Articles" and go to the AutoResponder section. Click on "How Do I Add Subscription Forms To My Own Web Site?"

Setting Up Your AutoResponder with TrafficWave Letters

Hello, my friend,

This article is designed to show you how to have your AutoResponder set up to promote your TrafficWave.net Affiliate URL. If you are using our tools to build your primary business, you will find those setup instructions in your back office. If you are subscribed to our Tools Training Messages then you have already begun receiving those instructions.

This particular setup is specifically directed at helping you get your AutoResponder set up to promote TrafficWave.net. Hopefully, you've taken the steps I've given you in the previous emails. You should be replying to emails and contacting your close friends and associates with information about TrafficWave.net and inviting them to your Affiliate URL.

Now it's time to dig in and start setting up your tools so that we can add other "funnels" to begin bring in even more new prospects for you.

The first step is to set up your AutoResponder with our pre-written TrafficWave.net letters. These letters have all been written to show prospects how AutoResponders can help them boost their sales and automatically include links to your Affiliate site. So let's get started:

1.       Place your mouse over "AutoResponder" in the top grey toolbar.

2.       Click "AutoResponder Campaigns".

 3.       Click "Create New Campaign" on the left of your screen.

4.       Type in your "New Campaign Nickname". I recommend calling this one "trwv"

5.       Enter a description for your new campaign. This will help you quickly identify this campaign in the future. It should look like this:

6.       Click "Create New Campaign" to create the new AutoResponder campaign.
(In the screen that pops up, click "Confirm" to save your settings.)

Your new AutoResponder Campaign Has been Started. Now we will retrieve the pre-written TrafficWave.net letters in to this new "trwv" AutoResponder:

1.       Go back to your AutoResponder section.

2.       Click "Retrieve Published Campaign" on the left of your screen.

3.       Select the little button next to "Retrieve TrafficWave.net Master AutoResponder Letters".

4.       Select the "trwv" AutoResponder in the pull-down menu:

5.       Click the "Retrieve Pre-Written AutoResponder Letters" button.

6.       Confirm by clicking "OK" in the window that pops up.

Your new TrafficWave.net AutoResponder has been created. You now have our pre-written letters installed in your new "trwv" AutoResponder. Take a little time to review the letters so that you can be familiar with what you will be sending your prospects.

Linking your new trwv AutoResponder to your Affiliate Pages:
Now that you have created an AutoResponder, we need to make sure we can get subscribers in to it. We'll start by linking your Affiliate Pages to this new AutoResponder.

1.       Go back to your AutoResponder section.

2.       Click "TRWV Affiliate LCP Pages" on the left of your screen:

3.       Choose "trwv" as your campaign nickname:

4.       Click "Assign Campaign"

Now, any time someone visits your TrafficWave.net Affiliate site and fills out any of the subscription forms, they will be subscribing to your "trwv" AutoResponder.

The next Training Articles you receive will begin showing you some of the ways you can begin attracting visitors to your Affiliate site.

If you are not familiar with your Affiliate URL's just go to the "Home" section of your Back Office and look under "Affiliate Status".

The Power Of One: Building a 5 Figure Income

The Power Of One: Building a 5 Figure Income

Hello, May Friend....

Hopefully, you've been implementing the simple technique of replying to your received emails with information about TrafficWave.net with a link to your Affiliate URL. I'm already hearing from some of our Affiliates that it is working and they are bringing in new referrals. That is VERY exciting.

That little technique really takes just a few minutes a day and it's a simple no-cost method of promotion to get you started.

Remember: Your first goal is to reach a point where you are making a few sales. The Fast Track Bonuses on new sales make it very easy to start earning right away.

Also, by just having three active sales on your first level (as long as you have 1 personally referred active sale), you will be earning enough that you are at break-even each month.

Your next goal is to take your TrafficWave.net Affiliate income beyond break-even to profitability.

This is where it is important to understand some basic principles. A lot of people get themselves tripped up by thinking they should be making a fortune within 30 to 90 days and if they don't, something is wrong. We do have Affiliates that are very aggressive and are able to build considerable incomes very quickly.

These Affiliates typically ...
·  ... have a lot of experience.
·  ... already have a list of contacts they can go to,
·  ... are able to influence large numbers of people very quickly.

If you fall in to that category, Congratulations! You've obviously worked hard to be where you are and you can enjoy the rewards that come with the work you have accomplished, so far. You will have no trouble building your TrafficWave.net income very quickly.

But if you are like most people just starting out ...
·  ... you may not have a lot of experience (yet).
·  ... you probably don't have a list (yet).
·  ... you probably don't think of yourself as a marketer (yet)

Don't worry. All those folks that have the experience, have built their lists, and act like seasoned marketers all started at the very beginning; just like everyone else on the planet. We ALL start at the beginning. By applying the information you are learning now, YOU can become one of those successful Affiliates you've always read about.

Success with any Affiliate Plan comes down to a couple of things really:
1.     Getting in to the right mindset (thinking in terms of possibilities).
2.     Taking focused consistent ACTION.

Your first step is to see the possibilities and that is where this email is going to hopefully open your mind to what is possible with the TrafficWave.net Affiliate Plan.

Your next step will be to take action by doing the things I am instructing you to do in these emails.
So let's get started with what I like to call The Power Of One

If you have been using the technique I shared with you a few days ago, you may have already referred one sale (or more). Congratulations! It really wasn't hard, was it? You just hit "reply" in your email program and then pasted in a simple message that was already written for you.

As you continue using that technique (and the many others I will be teaching you), you will find it easier and easier to generate more sales as you go along.

This is how you refer clients to TrafficWave.net: You advertise! (Simple, isn't it?)

The thing to remember is that you not only earn commissions on the sales you personally refer, but when any of your customers refers other customers to TrafficWave.net, you also earn commissions from those sales!
This is where The Power Of One comes in by helping you and your team of Affiliates use leverage to build phenomenal incomes.

Here's how it works:
We are going to assume that you will refer at least 1 new active sale each month. With all of the automation and advertising resources available, this should really be fairly easy to do.

We are also going to assume that your referrals will commit to doing the same. They will refer one new active sale each month and teach their referrals to do the same.

Month 1: You refer 1 new active sale.
You receive a Fast Track Bonus of $17.95

Month 2: You refer 1 new active sale.

Your previous referral refers 1 new active sale.
You receive a fast Track Bonus of $17.95.
You earn a Regular Commission of $6.00.
You have 3 sales in your organization.
(You are now in profit)

Month 3: You refer 1 new active sale.
Your previous referrals do the same.
You receive a Fast Track Bonus of $17.95
You now have 7 sales in your organization.

Month 4: You refer 1 new active sale.
Your previous referrals do the same.
You receive a Fast Track Bonus of $17.95
You now have 15 sales in your organization.

Month 5: You refer 1 new active sale.
Your previous referrals do the same.
You receive a Fast Track Bonus of $17.95
You now have 31 sales in your organization.

You are now qualified as a TidalWave and can begin earning the 25% Leadership Bonus!

Month 6: You refer 1 new active sale.
Your previous referrals do the same.
You receive a Fast Track Bonus of $17.95
You now have 63 sales in your organization.

Month 7: You refer 1 new active sale.
Your previous referrals do the same.
You receive a Fast Track Bonus of $17.95
You now have 127 sales in your organization.

Month 8: You refer 1 new active sale.
Your previous referrals do the same.
You receive a Fast Track Bonus of $17.95
You now have 255 sales in your organization.

At this point, you are earning hundreds of dollars each month in Regular Commissions and qualifying for the 25% Leadership Bonus!

Month 9: You refer 1 new active sale.
Your previous referrals do the same.
You receive a Fast Track Bonus of $17.95
You now have 511 sales in your organization.

Month 10: You refer 1 new active sale.
Your previous referrals do the same.
You receive a Fast Track Bonus of $17.95
You now have 1,023 sales in your organization.

By the end of month 10, you have built a 5 figure annual income!
You are now qualified at Tsunami Level and can earn a 50% Leadership Bonus!
(Leadership Bonuses can easily double an Affiliate's monthly check)

Month 11: You refer 1 new active sale.
Your previous referrals do the same.
You receive a Fast Track Bonus of $17.95
You now have 2,047 sales in your organization.

Your MINIMUM monthly Income at this point is over $2,000 per month.

I'll leave you to calculate Month 12 and beyond. Remember: This is not a promise or guarantee but a way to show you what is possible when you believe in the possibilities and take focused consistent action to build your business.
Will every client you refer follow your lead and bring on 1 new sale per month? Probably not.
Will every client you refer stay with you for the entire year and beyond? Probably not.

(To counter the natural attrition rate, I recommend trying for 2 - 3 new sales each month).
Sometimes, an Affiliate will refer a "Super Affiliate" who goes out and finds several clients right away. I've seen relatively new and inexperienced Affiliates (newbies) refer someone that turned around and brought on 40 new sales in the first month! (It happens)

The point is ... ANYTHING is possible and if you apply yourself with consistent focused action and teach your team how to do the same, you can build a tremendous income with the TrafficWave.net Affiliate plan.

What if you only do half as well as the example given above? Would a four figure check coming in each month change your life? For a lot of families, just getting an extra $300 per month could mean the difference between foreclosure and being able to keep their home.

Take a moment to review the information above again. Share it with some of your close friends and associates. If they can also see the possibilities, have them join your team and begin working with you. Support one another as you work together in building the lifestyle you've always dreamed you could have.

If you've already referred a few sales, make sure they know to subscribe to this AutoResponder so they can see The Power Of One for themselves and invite them to work with you. Share this email with them.

Remember... it starts by believing in the possibility and then taking action. Simple little steps taken every day will make a HUGE difference over the next year.
